Get the kids thinking by challenging them to make a parachute for eggs…by just using household goods! For ease of cleaning up you may want to hard boil your eggs first and decorate them to match your parachute. How your parachute looks and works is up to you – you could simply use sticky tape and string to attach a plastic bag to the egg and see if that survives the fall. Or you could create a basket to help protect the egg and make a parachute out of paper and attach that with string. Just see how creative you can be! Now find a spot in the air – the top of a ladder or a bedroom window (make sure no one is underneath!) and release the egg!
