Put out a selection of fruit and cereals, someone pretends to be the manager and waits on the others. It’s a great start to the day and the children eat so much healthier because its fun. We then organise day trips like a trip to the bottom of the garden to find worms or under the kitchen table as a library with a few books to choose from or to the ‘zoo’ where you have to guess which animal the others are pretending to be. Then it’s off to the cinema (a film on the TV.) The possibilities are endless and the game can be played all day or just for an hour or 2. Children love it.
