How can you get a single sheet of paper to make a LOUD noise? The answer is to make it into a snap dragon! Get an A4 sheet of paper, place it on a flat surface in front of you, then fold it in half, bringing the top edge down to meet the bottom edge. Next, fold it in half again, this time bringing the left hand edge across to meet the right hand edge. Now open up the paper like a card and grab the 2 corners that are in the middle between 2 fingers and pull them up whilst holding on to the corner fold at the bottom of the back section. Next let go of the 2 inner corners that you are holding and grab the 2 outer corners, then let go of the back corner. If you look at the paper now you’ll see that you have 2 pockets either side of the folded paper. Raise the paper to shoulder height, pockets facing down then sharply bring your hand down. The air should get trapped in the pockets, and unfold the paper, creating a loud noise.
