Make characters and objects from favourite nursery rhymes, such as a cardboard spider (Incey Wincey), star (Twinkle, Twinkle) or bus (The Wheels on the Bus). Put them in a small, decorated cardboard box, then ask your child to close their eyes and pick out an object. You can then sing the corresponding nursery rhyme. This is great as children get to do crafts, singing and dancing. New characters can be added as new rhymes are learnt.
