Find a cardboard box, it could be a shoe box or a cereal box. Use a pen or a pair of scissors to punch some holes around the box covering all sides. Fill the box with bits of string, ribbon, pipe cleaners or any bits of material which will fit through the holes and tape up the box. Then get your baby to pull out all of the bits of material you have put in there through the holes. _x000D_
You can take part too by giving lots of praise each time they get something out of the box. Try to use materials and items of different textures and colours to keep your baby engaged. If you have a large box and more than one baby, they could all work on the same box together building social skills.
