Make some paper puppets and backdrops so that kids can make up stories! All you need is some paper, colouring pencils/paints, small wooden sticks and some cardboard (cereal boxes) to help set the scene! Use the paper to cut out people/animals and any other characters you might want and decorate them with your pencils and paints. Then, once they are dry you can stick them to the small wooden sticks and ta da, your paper puppet has been born! Then you just need to set the scene for your show. You can cut the cardboard box in half so that you have plenty of backdrop – and can use one half for inside scenes and the other for outside scenes. It will be best to paint these as colouring pencils might not show very well! Once this is dry the kids can perform their favourite story or make one up themselves!
